my outer emblems came off no problem. the center rings i'm having some trouble with. make sure you don't use goof off to remove the remaining adhesive, you have to use goo gone. goo gone is citrus based so it won't dull the paint. i learned that on this forum....thanks guys

does anyone know if i find a set of black 98+ fenders, can i bolt em on no problems? and i'm assuming that would mean i could then get one-piece headlights without doing any trimming?? i may just search a few used parts sites for those fenders. the little jelly bean emblem is killin me, i can't do anything with it.

have to ask yourself... is it worth it?

i'll admit, i would have probably ended up doing it too, albet i was going to be removing the sidemarkers as well in favor of side mirror side markers...

i know, it would look so beautiful if it were black, but that's definitely a task and a half. i'll have to wait until i've got a whole day free to *** with that one. i was looking at those for a looong time, i absolutely love those headlights, but from what i've heard they are notorious for fogging, and i don't want that to happen. i do love the look though.

ORIGINAL: Transverse

[sm=dontgetit.gif] Its the best because I don't have a 2.8 or it doesn't have chrome because it only comes on the 2.8? both perhaps?

I saw a tutorial for doing that over at audiworld I believe. Didn't look too tough, but I've never tried it myself so you'd be the one with the know. It is an option though..don't know if it would look good or not.

I didn't say it was the best.
Only the 2.8 comes with chrome trim. The 1.8t comes with black trim. Its the easiest way to tell a 2.8 from a 1.8. The S4 comes with anodized black chrome trim.
