No, you can remove all the rear emblems. But why would you remove the rings??? it looks goofy with them there.

i want to make my car look as clean as possible. I guess the rings can stay though, I wish I could find some picks of black A4s without the emblems to see if I like it with or without the rings, but I haven't had any luck so far, I'll keep searching, I don't want to remove it and then decide I want it on afterall.

Hey Jest, do you know if the trim around the windows is removeable/replaceable? I took my car in to have some work done and i saw that a black 1.8T had black trim rather than chrome. I WANT THAT!!!!! I don't know why, but I just have a thing against chrome, anywhere. Except maybe rims if you have the right car.

Opsies! Starting 98.5 they got rid of the jellybean emblem. Thanks for correcting me.

Also, don't even try to replace the chrome trim with the black. It's been tried, and no one has successfully done it. The only option is painting. Good luck getting the black paint to adhere.

That's what I figured, I'll leave the window trim alone.

You could scuff up the window trim a bit with some sand paper. prime it then get some paint that matches your car's color from either the dealer or a body shop. It wouldn't be that hard...
