Default emblems

I want to remove as much of the chrome from my car as possible, but I don't want any holes on my trunk. I'm pretty sure both side emblems are just stick-on, but can I get a confirmation on that one? Also, is the center emblem also just a stick on? I have a black on black car with a badgeless kamei grill, and i'll soon have lltek's smoked tails and smoked sidemarkers. I almost got a smoked headlights and corners set too, but I figured that's probably pretty illegal, since I live in Cali and, if it's illegal anywhere, it also is here. Sorry for blowin up the forums (4 topics in the last half hour), I just got this older A4 and I want to get it clean. Thanks again for all your help, especially Jest, youre awesome man.

neways yes its safe remove all your emblems but the "OOOO" then your car will look clean as hell. and you can get some **** called blackout or something that you can spray on your tailights that allows the lights to shine through but in the daytime you cant see through it

wtf, respect your elders David. Thanks BFlan2001...

You can remove the rear emblems no problems with fishing line or dental floss and a hair dryer. The side emblems don't remove very easily. You will have a divet where the emlem goes and a hole where it once was. Euro one piece headlights and clear side markers is a good look.

It doesn't work like that.

I just happen to have two of them sitting on my dresser:

The indentation will have to be filled with bondo, and the fender repainted.

Yeah I don't think spending a 1000 bucks to get this job done is worth it. I think slimchris was thinking about doing it, when his car was in the shop, but never did.

I guess I'll leave the side emblems on, but all the rear ones will be gone by tomorrow, thanks guys. Do you think I can get away with removing them without a hairdryer or heatgun? I have some goo gone, but will that dull my paint? (it's black, remember)

....wait a sec, david, you said the rear "OOOO" emblem can't be removed, just the A4 and the 2.8 Quattro on each side?
