Effect of More Horse Power On Multi Tronic Tranny
If I get a bigger turbo, will it blow my multi tronic / CV tranny? 2002 a4t. Running GIAC and Magnaflow catback.

i have a tip like u man a K04 will be alrite on our cars its been done, but anything bigger might trash our crappy trannys

I'm not so sure about the CV transmission.
Before making any big changes, I'd do some research on the maximum torque they can handle, and make sure that you stay below.
Remember, one of the reasons our cars are "detuned" at the factory, is to increase longevity. Any increase in power is going to put more stress on parts and shorten their life.

Thanks guys. Jeff at Torque Factory basically said that even "race" mode on my GIAC might be too much for the CV. I just wanted to get some second opinions. I dream of the K04!
