Default ecodes

wow, so i did my ecodes yesterday, i will put up some pictures today, but you really need to cut alot out of the fender to get those suckers to fit good, i mean really.. I basicaly took it down all the way to the lip and then smoothed it out.. for you guys that have done it already did you make a custom bracket for the bottom bracket on the ecodes, it seams as if the bottom needs to be brought in just a bit, was going to fab something up this weekend to make it look just a hair better did know if anyone had done that or just left it, I mean they look good, great even, just i feel they would look a tad better if i could bring them in like 1/4 of an inch on the bottom

No they fitted just fine after the minor fender shaving. Cutting it all off really wasn't necessary, just about half way down to the lip.

Did you get xenon or halogen? Im trying to find a good price for those suckers. LLtek has 2 piece Ecodes that require no modification. With ballasts, bulbs, and the housing its around a whopping 1100 dollars. Im looking to spend 500-600 tops for everything.

I got mine for cheep from a guy who lives right down the street from me, the got them from ecstuning.com they are the Xenon head lights and i think they go for like 399 look on the sight, and if you go from a 2 peace ot a once peace like I did, you will have to modify your fender, the 1 peace lights look better...
