Haha, you are correct..BUT you never know..and he didn't specify..pretty broad question..but yeah our cars aren't comparable to a talon once you go beyond stock, except maybe a few who have dropped loads of money..speaking of which-my neighbor has 2 of them..one of which runs 9.8 and i'm not sure what he has the other one running, but his are f'ing insane. see the new talon-1,000 HP on the cover of-ah can't remeber what mag..but it was recent. That should get rid of all your questions about comparing our cars lol

 

Ihave worked on many DSM's in my day and I must say that if the talon is 100% stock with none of the infamous "free mods" than it is not that fast. It should beat a stock A4 though. My boss owns a 603 whp 91 Talon, needless to say it moves pretty good.

Took down a gen 1 talon n/a manual fwd with some cheap mods tonight with my stock 97 a4 1.8tqm with 154k on it. I kinda feel ashamed saying that, its not much to brag about.

 

a4 1.8tqm vs talon 2.0ntm the talon should win. its lighter by about 700lbs and only 10hp shy of the audi so it damn well better win.

Go to DSMTuners.com there are many writeups on 'how to get into the 12's for 1,500$' no joke it's done all the time guys.

Turbo or not DSM's are out of most A4's reach (even S4's don't add up to the turbo DSM's)

and what's the point? i've seen a guy buy a $2000 Dodge Spirit R/T. throw on an ebay FMIC, MBC, and saw off the exhaust and run a 13.0 on street tires...

I think that its been beaten to death that the Talon would win but at the end of the day what would you rather drive home in a tallon or an audi?
