talon straihgt up, its a bit lighter and made to go fast, plus bigger bore motor and more hp and torque, but i wouldnt trust it in the long run, not very reliable and from what ive heard the rear diff is a viscous diff and not mechanical like our quattros.

 

I have never seen a site with more bench racing EVER!

A4's are nice cars that are slow as fu(k...............sorry but true

Even if you had a K04 with all supporting mods including the 'badass'P-16 file you would still not win. It mabe close but I would still put my money on the DSM.

Point is A4's are slow dogs in the 1320' BUT have there strong points elsewhere.

 

Wow I guess you missed the part where the 4G63 was awarded best 4 cyl ever built or the countless 500+ hp stock bottom ends. BTW the 4 bolt rearend found in 92 and up is bulletproof i never hear of any body having issues ever.

 

You have to think though, if it is a non turboed talon they are about the same as our cars in the 1/4 depnding on the obvious things..talon would still have about .5 second probably though..talons are not exceptionally fast cars stock..YES they can handle A LOT of power, but that is not what he is asking..stock talon-non turboed I think the a4 could give it a run.
