Default dv whistle

i have the same excuse as everyone else- i tried searching but found nothing on this.
i switched out my dv after i got chipped with apr 91 with a evoms dv and installed it reverse. now every time it lets off boost pressure, it has the same blowoff noise as the stock one but followed by a high pitched whistle. Is that normal? If someone else with the same dv has the same noise- great. The sound doesnt bother me but im a worrier. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks

you put it on backwards and you're wondering why its whistling?

I've heard of ppl putting there's on backwards but I think audi put it on the right way for a reason...

try reversing it.

luckycharms are you chipped w/ original DV? 710N? your DV might have a tear/crack in it. get a 710N.

ya put ur dv back in the right way. i've seen people put them in both ways and done tests to see any performance differences. Conclusion: insignificant at most. And luckycharms if your just noticing the problem now then your dv probly finally gave out and its time to get a new one(especially if your car is chipped).
