Default DV OFF EBAY

I was wondering if anyone has bought a brandless names DV you know that ones that they sell on EBAY ?? are they just like the forge DV's cuz i was looking into buying this one EBAY DV

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Not sure how the no-name valve works.

You don't state what engine or mods you have, or why you think you need to replace your DV.

BTW, I never figures out why one would go to the expense of making an anodized colored aluminum or stainless steel unit, for a part that is buried underneath your engine and belly pan. The only guy who sees it is the person who changes the oil

I've turboed a few cars and my BOV was on the charge pipe completely visible.

They work fine, I've used them numerous times.

I have a stock 98 1.8t Quattro but iam planing to chip the car real soon and ive been reading that if you chip the car its a good thing to change your DV as well

if you want to save money, get the 710N dv from a dealership for 35 bucks..i wouldn't trust a no name brand. it's really hit-or-miss with that kind of stuff, and if it turns out to be a miss, youre screwed

ive used it on a couple different cars, it works fine. There isn't much too them, its a simple spring and piston thing.

no name stuff off ebay usually sucks and 30 bucks for an actual audi part, thats cheap. i would go ahead and buy the real one if i were u.

Ok i was thinking of going with a Dalhback Racing DV are they any good ?? of should i get a Forge DV??
