Default dv, chip, exaust...

hey, does anyone know what kinda hp and 0-60 im lookin at with a 1+ chip, exaust, and baileys dv(B6 1.8t q). i guess thats somewhere around $2500. does anyone have any more practical engine mods for that price? this stuff is just gona keep me busy untill the APR turbo kit comes out.

the ATP GT28rs kitt is 2400 and itll put you in the low 5's maybe even high 4's

WOW. thats insane. do u have a like for that? i worry about turbo kits cus i worry about the engine. the only reason i was waiting for the apr kit is cusi heard it was going to be very reliable. if i get that kit, do i need to get anything else too?

would this work on a 1999 a4 2.8 quattro? If so what would the 0-60 and hp results be? What else would u recomend for mre hp?

No, the 2.8L is not a turbo engine. A chip will give you like 10-15hp maybe...exhaust would prolly be another 10 or 15hp..and well..you don't need a DV.

All in all..your lookin at roughly 1300-1500 dollars for about 20-25hp gain. Might as well get a supercharger while your at it. ($3-5k)

A new car to mod will help, something on the rice side.

Just jokin, with the stage 1+ and full exhaust, you'll probablly see 245hp. And as much as the chip did to my car, b5 a4 w/ chip 200hp id say you'll have a blast with that 40-45 more hp, hell that is like another chips hp on top of mine. I wish they made software for bigger injectors to run with a k03 for the b5.

I mean... if i could find anything that would really be effective, i would spend up to the five-six range. i wanted to save money for breaks and suspension. also, besides the clutch, intercooler and exaust, what would i need on top of that apt kit? i worry that belts and stuff in the engine are gona break just cusa the high power.
