Aliitle question from France

My car is a audi A4 1.8T Quattro , year 1996, engine type AEB.

The dump valve on my car is 9 years old ( same as the car in fact ) and is referenced: 034 145 710A

I'm thinking of mounting a 710 N bosch Dump valve which seem much better and much reliable.

Can you tell me is this DV is OK for my "little 150 HP " ?

Second question: Do i have to remove belly pan uder the car to access the DV or can i reach it simply by removing the airbox ?

You should remove the belly pan and it will be right there for you to change.
Many of us (incl me) use the 710N valve. It's perfectly safe and is more robust
than the stock A4 valve.

 

Second that. I use one too, I upgraded it when I chipped my ECU. What else have you done to the car? It's easy to get to from the bottom like brrman said.

i'm a rookie in moding my car, for now i've just installed a KN filter 33-2125 and i'm ready to change my DV for a 710 N as soon as i find it
