dumb question

Default dumb question
i dont have the manual for my car, and a light is on that is a triangle with an exclamation mark in it with an arrow circling it. what does this light mean?

It means your traction control is dis-abled, check the fault codes in the brake system with a VAG COM.

or if you have an esp button push it, it should go off.

when light is off the traction control is on, when its lit up its off.
