Default Doing my own repairs and need Help

Air intake Gasket again. i dont think the dealer installed it right and having problems again. I was wondering if this is a job I can tackle myself. I have a 2.8L 30V. I took it to a guy today and he said he would charge me like 300 bucks because it would take awhile to take off the air intake and everything but it only cost like a few bucks for the gasket. I was wondering if there are any special tools??... it seems like Jestnomen knows something about working on Audis so I really need some feedback ASAP.. Thanks

Matt

Yeah the gasket should be pretty cheap, couple bucks or so. How long ago did the dealer install it? Cause they should fix it if they didnt install it correctly. I really can't tell you what kind of a job it will be. I know on the V6 you would have to remove the fuel rails and injectors/plugs. It would be a pain in the ***.
