haha yes, I am interested in moving your basic coke and heroine... *cough* actually... it was something more audi oriented!
I am looking to buy a set of wheels from edgeracing.com... and to ship them here (canada) is going to cost well over 500 bucks after the shipping/duty/taxes/brokerage fees. So what I was hoping, was that somebody from here would allow me to ship them there, and I'd drive down to pick em up! There'd be a case of beer in it for ya! Woot! Beer beer beer! Maybe canadian beer? I dont know how easy that is to get accross the border... hmm
Anyways, just an idea! Like I said, Im new here, and nobody has any reason to put themselves out on account of me!

Flik wasps or something? With toyo TS-1 tires. Would end up costing me like 1400 bones CDN + beer + gas.
I'd also have to think up some scam to get them accross the border... the 100% sure bet is to install the new wheels, and put the old ones in the trunk. and say "I went down south to (insert lie here), and brought my snow's just incase things got gnarly!"
Hows it sound? Any thoughts on the lie? I'm such a scammer... *sigh* so broke. Stupid cars! ... i didnt mean that.

RE: does anybody live in NY? or near the CDN border
Exactly... but they will make me pay tax on them. I dont want to do that! It's canada's stupid fault, they tax everything to hell, and stuff up here is SOOO much more expensive. I've been buying from USA for years, and it has always been cheaper. Even after shipping, and 1.57 exchange rate! But with the size of wheels/tires... shipping/taxes/duty/brokerage (brokerage is the worst) gets crazy. So, I look for alternative options! There is a guy near me selling a set of RS4 style wheels, off a 2001 A4, 17" with nearly new dunlop tires, for 1600CDN (for 5 wheels)... and where I doubt anybody would pay that for them... I certianly would prefer to spend 200 LESS and get 18's, brand new, with a top end tire, also brand new. Maybe I'm crazy!
