because they are known to go out with the additional strain from the chip... i think u are passing the wrong blame...
There is no additional strain on the coil packs from a chip. The voltage does not increase.

yeah i typed that wrong... hitachis are not known to go out lol! thats why i got them!

the other style L and R versions are prone to failure at any time in any car regardless of mods.... but i would think we can agree that the probability of failure does go up with a chip... many many many people have had one go very soon after getting a flash... and many more have had them go on stock programming as well... but no matter what u think chips do put more strain on the car.. but they sure as hell wont hurt it and i wished i hadnt waited so long to get mine!

Which is exactly why no one has bought my spare set of hitachis.

Maybe coilpacks are the reason why i have misfires but sometimes it misfires under full boost, sometimes it doesnt.

check your gap, it should be .028 and a heat range colder plug.

Im sure they werent gapped. I would take them all out, check each one and correct them if they need it and then reinstall them. Spark plugs gap can grow over time also.

under full boost you are probably blowing out the spark... like 1.8t said, tighten up that gap to .028 and if that doesnt help, try a colder range... a lot of people seem to have that problem after a flash or BT program...im still running stock plugs with stock gap and i havent had any problems yet but i put fresh pl;ugs in when i did my coilpacks a few days before my 1+ flash

I find this hard to believe something doesn't add up. My friend is a revo dealer, and I know a load of friends in the UK that have had there dubs, audis and seats all revod with no problem what so ever.

I put it down to the installer end of the day. Its like mechanics you get good ones and bad ones. Shame as they give the product a bad rep. However I cant see revo ever getting a bad rep TBH
