Just installed it tonight and it's...marvelous! That's how Audi should have made their shifter, especially for the sport package. I no longer feel like I'm shifting a dump truck.
Installation is pretty straight forward. However, make sure you have circlip plyers to remove a clip ring (or circlip). Also, make sure the little bolt that attaches the yoke to the shift shaft is pointing toward the driver, just like in the picture.

oo yes i have teh B&M and its great. I dont know why audi screwed teh shifter up so bad.

thast actually less than the B&M and it comes assembled rather than having to switch around some of the parts when installing it.

I just emailed jim@dieselgeek and asked if he'd do any kind of discount for a group buy, for some GTA'ers! I figure I'd get one, my dad.. and likely at least one other local canadian would be down with it! They'd all be shipped to my address, to save more money. And I could set a day where I'd be in Toronto to deliver them. Pimp! PM me if you'd be interested. They are already a good deal at 155 US (if you DON'T have push down reverse)... but, if we can get them even cheaper, then all the better.
