Default debaged and painted grill

I own a 2001 a4 1.8t. I recently painted the chrome ring around the grill flat black to match the rest and it came out great, makes the rings stand out more.I also decided to debage it today, as i was takiung the badges off i noticed the faint outline of the badges where still there. well after wasching/claying/and waxing the car the outline is still kinda noticable. Any suggestions on what to do?

use a fine polishing compound and buff the **** out of it, but be sure not to burn the paint

in aug on the way up to school, i was following my dad and he ran over a semi truck tire that came off the truck in front of him and it came flying at me and i swerved to miss it but got in gravel and it went to **** from there, i went sliding sideways across the freeway at 70 and then i almost got it back but got back in the gravel the other direction and then it was goin sideways and the tires dug in the dirt and gravel and it started goin over.... it wasnt much fun
