I decided to take the dealer sticker off my car today and while I was doing it i debadged my car too. It looks lo much cleaner on the back. Kinda sparce but looks good.

Since I had my face 1 foot from my trunk for 30 min I noticed some rust colored pin head sized dots all over. Are the spots something I should worry about? It came with Simoniz coating from the dealer.

 

I wouldn't think that you'd have to worry about it. Doubt that there would be anything you could do to take care of them anyway. Light wet sand maybe to see if they go away.

 

is it chipped paint with rust?

 

Its a bit of a rough feel when i slide my hand over the paint. Could it just be dirt stuck on there? Don't know if its rust but its a brown color, no chips in the paint.

 

wash/polish/wax it and see if they are still there, or claybar it and wax it

 

yea could be dirt or some spraypaint overspray. who knows? use a polishing compound to remove it.
