Default Debadged at last...

so today, after school in the parklot no less, i finally got the badges off my A4 1.8TQ... it took about 3 hours with the aid of my good friend who debadged his own car... when i was done found i had MANY superficial scratches, almost so much so that the scratches outline the numbers... however you can only see it when the light hits it right thank god... hopefully getting it waxed and polished will buff that out right?... how long did it take other people to debadge theirs? i did the floss and goo gone trick, is there any other method that would have been better?
