went to a dealer about 100miles from my house to look at 96 a4, what a nightmare the car had trash all over the place, the door panels looked like someone painted them with muddy water, there were rips on the dash console, the gear **** was missing, and to top it off the dealer & his friends were joy riding in the car weeks before which put an extra 1500 miles on the car. what a disaster. SO I took it to for a test drive and as soon as started up the road, there were loud knocking noises coming from the rear tires, i'm like WTF? so anyway as i am testing out all the gears I find that third gear doesn't accelerate like the others again i'm like WTF? I take it back and told the dealer about the issues with the car he says he's only gonna take like $100 off for all of the problems and I forget to mention the previous owner used regular (Green) anti-freeze and he had no idea when the timing belt was changed! after all of that I left, angry, hungry, tired, and confused

That sucks! Why did you drive all that way to check out that car? I remember searching dealers for my car. I HATE DEALERSHIPS![:@]I ended up going to a pivate owner and got a sweet deal.

dude, tell them to give you the $100 for pain and agony and you are buying another car somewhere else

i don't know why you made this thread, cause that car is junk, but yet it still sounds like you are thinking about buying it which is a big mistake

search through autotrader or other online places, you don't have to go through a dealership, and there are cars on here, someone might even be close to you
take your time the right car will come along, don't buy some piece of crap just to have an audi

granted they are great, but not so much that you will regret what you buy

 

no, I didn't buy the car, and I don't want to buy the car, it is obviously a piece of junk, I just wanted to share my experience everyone. and to spit hatred at all the stealerships out there.

and anybody that pays the asking price for the that car which is $6k is a fool
