The Dealer Broke My Exhaust!

The Dealer Broke My Exhaust!
alright so i picked my car back up today from getting its new rotors and brake pads under warentee... *this is where i would like to thank GIAC for their chipswitcher and wonderful stock programing* anyways, i picked it up today and left the dealership... i go to my favorite local food joint with some buddies and being obsessed i look at my car as i walk away from it going inside...
well i noticed that the right side of my exhaust was hanging down as if it had fallen off the rubber hanger... it was pouring out at the time so i took a quick peek and saw it was stiill on the hanger and went inside. i first thought that the rubber hanger had stretched and was sagging a little but when i got home later and backed the rear into the garage to inspect, the steel hanger weld on the thing that sticks through the rubber hanger was clearly cracked and was visibly moving if you pushed the exhaust up or down
now i am extremely ocd about my car and it was definatly something i would have noticed before i brought the car in... it almost looks like someone stepped on the side of the exhaust or it got caught on something while going up on the lift... anyways i know if i ever tried to bring it back to audi they would deny deny deny... so im just going to weld it back on myself tomorrow morning... just sucks i have to waste time doing that tomorrow[&:]
oh and for the time being today i had to do it rice style and tie it to the rubber hanger with a heat-resistant rope to keep it looking somewhat normal

RE: The Dealer Broke My Exhaust!
probly most definatly not... they definatly dont give a ****... another reason to switch dealers, the dealership that i go to or rather, up until today have gone to is like really really low on the costomer satisfaction, like almost lowest in the country... clearly they were right, i just figured since my family has been buying cars from them for the past like 10 years i figured id stay there... im done
its just dissapointing that they have that little regard for something like that and wouldnt even like say anything about it

RE: The Dealer Broke My Exhaust!
Same thing happened to me. One of the rear muffler hangers got broke during inspection. The tech denied that he broke it. Then the manager said that his guys don't even check the exhaust during an inspection. I knew this was bullshit since I had seen them check it during previous inspections.
Why do people lie?
