Default Cylinder Head Repair

Hey. My timing belt stripped and went out@ 98,000 miles. Yeah I should have done it as soon as I bought the car but too late now. I took it into the dealership and they said the valves are bent but the head and block are otherwise ok. I'm going to talk to them tomorrow so I can get some more info about the condition of the head, then I'm going to talk to a local cylinder head reconditioning specialist to see how much they'll charge for it. I think my cams are ok, just the valves are messed up. When I get the quote though I want to compare how much they charge for parts and maybe I could order the parts myself, but I'm not sure exactly what parts I need. Looks like ECS sells 8 exhaust valves for $120 and 12 intake valves for $120. But it appears to be important to get new hydraulic lifters? How many of those do I need? Valve stems too? Anyway, it'd be a major help if I knew which parts are needed for replacing the valves and how many. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Default RE: Cylinder Head Repair

Nevermind, I found a good deal on a rebuild cylinder head, new valves, lifters, cams,so I should be good.
