CV Joint - Timing Belt - Oil Leak- dealer want to charge $$$$
Hi guys, i have a few questions
1. Yesterday I went to the dealder to have the air conditioner recharged(my local shop only charged 250 grams for me, where it should be 700-750 grams)
After they done with it, they told me my RR CV JOINT BLOWN, and it need to be replaced, $521.87 +Tax
How much is the parts and labor should be? any one have any idea?
2. Another thing is the timing belt on my car was replaced at 60k by audi dealder, it is now 93k, how come yesterday they asking me to replace the belt again? isn't it should be every 60k to replace the belt?
3. lastly: Oil leak, they quote me $1060 + tax to fix the problem, what is it exactly need to be done to fix the oil leak.?
I have a 99 audi A4 2.8 Q.
Thank you so much for your help!

idk about the first or last one. but as for your timing belt, it only needs to be replaced every 60k-85k miles. and even though i'm not sure about the other two, i'm going to say that this place is definitely trying to steal some money from you.

thx for the replies guys! I really appreciate it.
Ok, I just called the dealer,
1. They didnt' know the Timing Belt was changed at 60K, so they assume I need to change it now at 93k. so I dont need to change it until it hit 11k
2. For the oil leak I need to replace: cam chain tentioner and seal gaskets
3. For the R/R CV Joint, I can bring parts for the to do the installation? where do you recommend to get the R/R CV Joint?
Thanks again for your help!

Why are you going to a dealer? They are supposed to have expertise, but they charge mucho dinero. Find a local indepdendent garage that deals in VW and Audi.
Leak at back of cam chain is expensive. Oil is 4 dollars a quart. If it is just cosmetic and you are not losing much oil between oil changes, I'd leave it.
