Default cv joint going...

Hey guys,

Just a few quick questions my front right cv joint is going i hear clicking when im turning right etc..

Wanted to know how hard it is to replace the front right cv joint on an A4 1996 V6, also if anyone has links to a how to do that would be great.

I found this cv joint kit on-line is this the correct one for the right side or does it not matter? http://replacement.autopartswarehous...t&dp=false

i would just get the axle or the cv joint kit from here.. a lot cheaper and easier to swap out the entire thing

It would be better to buy the whole axle.

This is why you should buy the whole axle and not replace the joint itself, Easy except for poping the cv joint over the c - clip.

I'm pretty sure it is the same with all cars. Replacing the whole axel is a lot easier to do than to repack the whole thing.

Put it in reverse and turn the wheel to the right lock and then do circles.
