My car is just too low for the RS4 (style) bumper it has on it, and it keeps getting messed up no matter how carefully I drive, so I'm thinking about modifying the bumper (cutting, etc.) and replacing with a custom lower lip made of sheet metal, which would act kind of like a skid plate. Obviously it's in the hypothetical stages, but has anybody seen anything like this or have any thoughts on it. I don't want it to look like crap afterwards but I can't stand driving like this anymore.

i was driving like a jackass in the snow the other day drifting and stuff. and i hit a curb. it popped the bottom piece of my bumper off (oem). i was pissed, got out of my car, popped it back on and it was good as new. the whole drive home i was thinking of how mad i would have been it i had an rs4 bumper.

my advice. just sell it for oem a4 or oem s4
