Default cruise control

Hi,
if i have all the switches in place for cruise control in my audi, does it mean i have criuse control? or are they just for showing off, which doesnt make since... I tried to use it, it didnt work, then i checked the fuse box, fuse 11 was missing, i got a 5amp fuse tried to put it in but it kept falling back out, does that mean that feature was disabled in my model?

If you remove another fuse you will see that prongs are their to receive the fuse. If your fuse is falling out number 11 does not have them. Take a look in another fuse in your book. I am sure it is just coupled with other system(s). My Books says fuse 11 also but is it coupled with other systems under fuse 31.

Also if it doesnt work and you have a fuse where you need it, it could be the switch mine went out on me had to replace it....

ive looked inside the fuse space for number 11, and there is no fuse holder, which is strange??? I tried looking in the manual, i found nothing, when looking on the fuse guide on the fuse box cover, it says it should be in number 11? what does that mean? is there a way to test if have cruise control without going threw the fuse?

rnbguy, I don't have an answer for you exactly. In N. America cruise control is a standard item I believe. In Europe though you guys have the option to buy the cars with less features.

An interesting article on how to fix your bad cruise control stalk

yeah i guess ill have to take it to audi and ask them. Its just weird for them to put in all the switched and "set" button but not to actually have cruise control, ill find out from them.

thanx for the advice.

one more option.... go to audi's website. You can plug in your vin number and it will tell you every option installed.
