Well, car cranks but does not start. No cel so far. Vag-comed but no code also.

I did not check if there is a spark but I doubt it because when I took the spark plugs out, they were all wet.

I check the fuses and looks fine. I dont know what the hell is wrong. It was fine yesterday.

Any ideas? ICM or Coil?

I need to fix it asap, I gotta work on monday you know.

 

try jumping it or maybe sum starting fluid. how's ur battery?

turn on your lights and see if they dim when you crank it

 

I'll get some starter fluid tomorrow. It's a good idea.

Battery is powerful enough to feed all my apartment complex

 

It also smell very strong of fuel, after cranking a while.

 

try turning the key to on but not hitting ignition. then hold the gas pedal to the floor for about 35 seconds, pull the key out, then try starting it. even tho its electronic fuel injection, they can flood... retarded i know but once in awhile it happens to these cars.

EDIT: try this before using starter fluid, i doubt it will work after.

 

Get your woman to crank the engine while you check for spark. If no spark there is a ICM test DIY article somewhere. If you still cant figure it out then you should give your car to me [8D]

 

Change your spark plugs and air filter.

 

simple rules does it have a spark - is there fuel - can you hear the fuel pump cycle when you turn the ignition on ( not cranking the engine ) - is it over fueling and washing the spark out ( FPR )

 

Fuel pump and pressure all good, plugs are good, air is good, but no sparks I just tested. ICM is the one is dead I think.

Hey Jason! how about lets test your ICM on my car, if it works, then you can drive my car to home
