Couple of codes. related to test pipe?
I looked on the ross-tech wiki, found P0420 (16804)- cat threshold exceeded type thing, figured that is the test pipe screwing with things.
Could not find the other P1114 (17522) - bank 1 sensor; internal resistance exceeded or something similar. Is thisrelated to the O2 sensors in the test pipe? Or is this an entirely different situation?
I realigned the throttle earlier today for grins (CEL was already on, has been for a bit).
Thanks in advance if anyone has dealt with this code before.

Do the diode mod, the non foulers are a waste of time. You can search it on i think audizine.com an auditech posted it and i did it on mine after getting my cel a few times and it only cost two bucks.
goog luck with it

RE: Couple of codes. related to test pipe?
I use non foulers with my test pipe. For the first 1000 miles Id get a CEL every 300 miles or so. Now, 1600+miles later, I dont. I would give the diode mod a shot, but I have heard unsucessful stories about it too.

Finally tracked down the diode mod. My knowledge of car mechanics is better suited to older V8's so I may be missing something- how will this mod affect the CEL from the deleted cat? Is one of the codes I mentioned affected by the diode mod and I am not getting the connection?
