Default Could i take new charger

i have a race lined up on the Dragon's run, if any of you know what that is. Over 360 corners in 11 miles with a brand new dodge charger that this meat head is saying it could take on anything, even on back roads soooooooo.......i challenged him. It will prob. be in mid summer and im picking my car up next week. The first week i have car im slapping on coil-overs and gfb's hybrid d-bov, fmic, giac chip and prob some falken azenis tires, i will also be running open down pipe, removed a/c and power steering- no my question is who will take this.

OH by the way the car is a 96 1.8t quattro, manual

Dont even mess around with a chip, just go striaght to a bigger turbo, ko4 or 28rs.

you never know with those old cars. my friend has a 69 cammaro and that this handles like a champ. so just go for the bigger turbo and build for there. [sm=signs003.gif] put some money on the line so that when you win you can pay off some of that debt.

active, he's talking about the new charger...an old charger wouldn't even be a problem on backroads...these new ones are pretty boaty though, they def don't live up to the charger name...

s15, where are you from?

What, the new Magnum sedan NASCAR boat? If you can drive, you should be good, especially with a turbo upgrade.
And if he slides off of a cliff, or into a tree, you win too, right?

yes if he wrecks i win also. His dad isnt letting him mod it so with his shitty spring rates and no suspension upgrades hit sliding off the cliff is a good possibility.

BentFrame im from Asheville North Carolina, the dragons run is on the nc/tn border

the 96 is a 12 valve engine that's pretty weak, i have one ....if you want to do any modding go with the 1.8T, not the 2.8....the 2000 is dbw, i'd go with the 97, unless it's got super high mileage...
