2001 A4 2.8

A few weeks ago I had a coolent light come on when I was on the parkway. I pulled over and picked up some coolent. The gas staion guy opened up the coolent thing ( overflew everwhere) dumass that he was. Well I drove back home with the light on. I took to the mechanic and he replaced the coolent tank becuase thats where the leak was comming from. Welll it didnt leak for awhile. Last night I look under the car and there is a small puddle. So I put white cardboard under the car and to find out this morinign NOTHING is there!! I dont get this Fuc#ing car.

Could it be residue??

Check all the hoses especially the ones ion the back of the engine, they have a tendecy to corrode, and leak alittle bit. Prob will only leak while car is warm casue thats when there is pressure in the system

 

makes sence, im going to take it back to the shop now.

 

I had a similar issue with my car. I told the shop to do a full check and they found it was a coolant clip that had come loose.

 

Did you have the a/c on?
Are you sure it wasnt the pefectly normal condensation that leaks for the ac evertime you park your car? And then would not be there in the morning?
