Coolant/Overheating problems...
Hello everyone,(I have a 04 CVT),Last night,I took the car for a spin on the highway and when I reached near 70 miles per hour,I noticed the coolant light coming on and my temp. gauge started to needle past the halfway mark and climb over to the overheating side..so I returned home, saw that I was pretty low and added some g12 to the fill line, and it still seemed to be doing this. The strange thing is,when I drove it at low rpms and didn't go past like 50,it stayed just fine at normal operating temp...but when i started to push it a little, the coolant light comes on and the temp gauge starts to climb again...but as soon as I start slowing down, the temp gauge goes back down..anyone have any idea what could it be? Will it take a couple of hours for the coolant to circulate or something?...any help would be greatly appreciated..
