Default collar bolt on axle possibly stripped.

alright, my collar bolt is the 14mm allen, but the wrench is not a great fit in there as it looks to be fairly stripped. any suggestions on how to get it off? perhaps taking it to a shop who can break it loose for me?

ok we're on the same page then. put up a pic of how bad it is. spray some pb blaster on it too but don't put a torch on it because the heat can damage the bearings. see if u can get a vise grip plier on it and then turn while using the 14mm too. there's really not much u can do. make sure u replace the bolt though.

If you're trying to take out the "hub" bolt that holds the CV axle to the spindle with a 14mm allan then your gonna strip it because its a 17mm hole.
