2000A4 1.8T Quattro. I woke up this morning and start the car, theengine light was on. So I got itscan for the code & the code I got was (P1113). So can someone tell me what causing the problem for the engine light to come on. And also a few suggestions on how to fix the problems.

17521 P1113 Sensor 1 Internal resistance too High

Sounds like an open circuit. Check for loose and dirty connections
to O2 sensor.

By the way, check for a vac leak. I got that same code when I had a vac leak on one of the check valves on the back/top of the engine that works with the 2ndary air pump. Engines that have a 2ndary air pump for emissions at startup are 99.5 or 2000+. I replaced the cracked valve, cleared the code, and it has not come back so far. P1113 O2 sensor heater resistance too high. look for aloose or dirty connection.
