Clutch and Flywheel

Clutch and Flywheel
I have a 2002 A4 3.0 Avant Quattro 6sp manual.
My clutch recently went and I would like to replace both the clutch and flywheel.
Any recommendations for an aftermarket clutch kit and flywheel that will be cheaper than OEM?
I've been looking around and haven't been able to find any aftermarket flywheel for the 3.0L - is OEM my only option?
As for doing the replacement myself, is there anything that I should be particularly concerned about (i.e any areas where I could make a mistake and f **** up?) I have access to a lift, and I've read a few walkthroughs on how to do the replacement - they make it seem relatively easy. Does it really take 10 - 14 hours as the walkthrough suggested... didn't seem that complicated...

RE: Clutch and Flywheel
yes it will take a rly long time. since it's ur first time. plan on 1.5 if things are smooth. as far as parts, here's a list of sites https://www.audiforums.com/m_55694/tm.htm
have fun and take ur time doing it and get all the little tools to do it right too.

RE: Clutch and Flywheel
how much is the OEM clutch? you can get a stage 1 southbend for 475, stage 2 for 505, or stage 3 for 545. 3.0 clutches are more expensive than other engines for some reason...and they offer lwfw's, or they can resurface your stock one for cheap
