Hi Hiwords,
I used to get this too - turns out one of the rear springs was broken.
Now both springs are changed and I got no more problems.
My mechanic told me another common problem is worn shocks can cause a clonking sound.

When I have had thsi issue its always been my control arms. IM thinking about getting the Febi set from ECSTuning and just redo the whole card. I have had the same one replaced twice already and others have also been replaced. Damn you North East roads
