Default cleaned the maf and changed the plugs

well, the old girl was running a bit rough and i was constantly hitting limp mode, so i decided to clean the maf with some crc maf cleaner and change out the plugs

the old plugs weren't too bad, but they were pretty damn old. replaced em with ngk bkr 6es, and lemme tell ya, the car feels sooo nice now. very smooth, almost like when you have an old truck that was in dire need of an oil change and you change the oil. oh man was it smooth.

anyways, i tried to get it to hit limp mode but to no avail at first, then finally it happened again. it took longer than normal (i'm guessing b/c the temp outside is 68 and normally i hit limp mode quickly in the 90s) so, looks like ill need a code reader or a vag com to scan and see whats up.

anyone on long island or in ct wanna help a brotha out?

I've been wanting to do that, clean the MAF and TB. Is there any write up on how to clean both MAF and TB? What type of cleaner?

yea i decided to clean the maf after you posted that pic of your evo maf...

it was crazy how dirty mine was with only 54k under its belt

so, i'm reading up on aw and az that the problem might be the n75. should i bother upgrading to a j or h valve or just stick with a stock one (c i believe)
