Default Citylight vs cityled comparison

The cityLED mod is still a work in progress but for those n00bs who are curious about how a citylight conversion looks like here is a visual of my upgrade path from halogen bulbs to LEDs.

You can see right away that the LEDs do not fill the hgibeam reflector the same way the halogen bulb does, but the LEDs are a perfect match to the 6000k HID color.

Halogen citylight

Halogen citylight on the left, Autolumination 4 LED focused on the right

Autolumination 4 LED focused on the left, Ultraleds 6 LED focused on the right

Ultraleds 6 LED wide angle on the left, Ultraleds 6 LED focused on the right

Final result with ultraleds 6 LED wide angle and 6000k HID fogs

Looks weak. I guess id have to see em in person to be for sure, but, why do you want LED's anyway?? i dont see how the light output will compare to halogens?? Wouldnt it cost as much or less to just do a HID conversion with a better outcome?

I think you might have been confused... These are the small H6W citylights that are being replaced with LEDs not the lowbeams. My headlights were not turned on in any of those pictures.

This is what the car looks like with the mains on

Tee - he's talkin about citylights, not headlights. I think they look a lot better than the standard citylights.

yeah where do we get those? how can you show us something cool like that and not tell us where to get it? it's like showing a fat person a picture of a piece of cake.

If you have Euro lights they are little light bulbs fitted in the side of the high beam that light up when you click on the first notch on your stalk in the US on the B5's your front indicator comes on.
