Chipping my car

Chipping my car
OK, tomorrow is the big day. I am driving down to Dayton from C-bus to have the 2001 2.8 A4 chipped. I am putting an upsolute.com chip in the car. Curious if anyone has heard of this chip and if it helps to eliminate the flat spot? I cannot wait to see if spending $370 bucks will get me a little more low end torque, and eliminate the 2800-4000 RPM "flat spot".

Damn. I hope to find someone who knows this chip or has had it before. I am a little apprehensive getting this chip, yet nobody knows who they are. I found these guys from the audiforums link to parts.

they are near the bottom of the first list.

OK. Today is the day. I live in C-bus, Ohio and I am traveling about an hour west to Dayton to get my car chipped at 3pautomotive around 230 today. I read some reviews, and 99% of 2.8 30V engine owners loved the chip. It posts gains of 190 hp to 211 hp and 207 tq. to 226 tq. The guy at 3p told me the so called "flat spot" is virtually eliminated. I will post later today and let you guys know how it works out. Also, I might get a tip chip from GIAC next week. Man, u gotta love german engineering, it's a step above all others.

I've heard that chip name but have yet to hear any input from it. Let us know how it goes. The most common chips are the GIAC and APR... any reason you went with this one?? The drive home from the chipping will feel amazing. Post info ASAP.
