No, I mean chassis #. I've since found out that it depends on the last 6 digits of your VIN number. In '00 they made two different chassis. Certain parts, like the Secondary Air Pump are different. I still don't know which chassis I have, but my parts guy figured out which pump to get me.

Take off the plastic cover on top of the engine and look on the firewall side of the engine block on top and it should say it there. I think all 2000's are ATW and also have the updated timing belt tensioner by the way. But I just found out there are 2 different chasis #'s for 2000's and I could be wrong. Easy to find out though.

i'm lucky to get parts through a mechanic i know that owns his own shop. the air pump set me back $190, regularly $240. the combination valve that started the problem to begin with was another $70 if i remember correctly. supposedly the combination valve in our motors tend to stick open, allowing too much moisture to collect in the air pump which makes it go bad.

I found this.
What is the VIN and Chassis #

All vehicles contain a unique VIN number. Here is some information and helpful hints for you. The Vehicle Identification Number, sometimes referred to as VIN, the Chassis Number Format, or the Vehicle Serial Number, is comparable to that of a DNA system.

In the mid 1950s, American automobile producers began casting and stamping identification numbers on vehicles and their parts for purposes of accurately describing vehicles when large quantities of production were beginning to rise. Study shows that earlier VIN numbers relied on the manufacturer and they varied significantly. Vehicles prior to 1980 have 10 digit numbers and the 1980 vehicles contain 10 digits and an A. Because of the differentiation, in the early 1980s the U.S. Department of Transportation decided that all vehicles on the road contain a 17 character VIN, which is the system now used in most major vehicle manufacturers. A vehicle is like the DNA system when it rolls off the production line, it has its own identification number!

In addition to the VIN differing by manufacturer, the form and location may vary. The form could be in:
ยท Plate (Aluminum)
Label Form
ยท Bar Code
ยท Cast or Stamped

Common locations for a VIN are:
ยท Firewall of the Vehicle
ยท Left Hand Inner Wheel Arch
ยท Steering Column
ยท Radiator Support Bracket
ยท Dash by the Windshield
ยท Driver's Door
ยท Door Jam Frame
ยท Passenger Side Door
ยท Maintenance Book
ยท Vehicle Documentation
ยท Machined Pad on the Front of the Engine

Let's examine a vehicle with the following VIN -1ZWFT61L8X5617536. It is broken down as follows:

123 456 78 9 10 11 12 13 14151617
