Hey I am callin the standalone guys !
I am not experianced with standalones but I know some guys who can fine tune for me but I need some information before buying that sick box
1. What's the differance between euro spec ECU's and yours. My ECU number is 8D0907558E.
2. Where can I find the harness installatin digram before buyin the 034EFI.
3. Do I need additional supporting mods ? (nDBW)
4. Can I use all the futures of the ECU like additional mapping.
5. They have plug-in harness sold 395$ at thier site what's the differance between the harness that comes with the kit.
6. Thanx guys that's all I got for now.

Man, I don't envy you. Unless I had lots of time on my hands to learn standalone and to constantly tweak my car to get it right I couldn't do it. Not to mention learning how to use standalone. Its probably not that bad, but I couldn't afford the downtime and constant tweaking of my daily driver.

The only convincing part is the ECU comes with pre-tuned software.

A family member has a IS300 with a turbo upgrade. I just remember the amount of time he spent tweaking was redicilious. Ask Tomm and see how much time it took him to get his maps correct. Its one of those things thats fun to learn, but it will take a bit of time like anything else.
Check over on Audizine there are far more people using standalone. If you have buddies that know standalone and won't charge you an arm and a leg, then go for it.
