Default cel codes

Well cel light came on again so I went out and bought a car scanner. I scanned the car and here are the codes that came up. 412C (Misfire detected), 412E (Cyl.2 Misfiring recognized), 465A (Voltage supply kl.30 voltage too low), 4085 Bank1-(Probel Signal too slow), 45AA Tank breathing valve-N80 Open circuit. Does anyone know how I would go about fixing those error codes. The one I am most worried about is the misfire one.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. By the way it also gave me these codes but they weren’t in the book. H2, H2-E, H3, H4, and H1.

What do you mean the numbers are off, There is a pdf link on that site that tell you what the meaning of each number is.

Well like your misfire for non-vag scanner should be p0300 p0302. Anyway check your plugs and your coil for cylinder two. Do this by moving cyl 2 coil to cyl 1 and see if the misfire moves. The voltage code sounds like you killed your battery or its low. The n80 I think would be your purge valve. Hope I helped.

I wil move the coils around and see what happens. How do I tell wich one is cylinder 2 though? Also as for the battery I had it replaced about 2 months ago. And as for the purge valve is that something I should replace where is that located... By the way thanks for all the help so far...

if you can return the scanner I would do so and instead go to eBay and find a VAG-COM cable for like 20bux and get some software. it'll be alot mroe useful down the road, although it's made me OCD about my car (gotta make sure eveything is running PERFECT now ) and if you know what you a thing or two aobut computers you can find the software for a very good price

Sorry but I don't understand how getting a different kind of scanner is going to solve my problem. I already know what is wrong with the car, now I need to fix it...

your code reader is ok for you but the codes mean nothing and would take too long to decipher into P codes which is the norm [ p0300 p0302 ] this is the problem when there are so many different code readers out there ( go for one that gives Codes not the type you have ) plenty on eBay for a few $$
