I'm actually talking about sitting in the car view, so it would be the righ side when looking at the engine form the outside.
bank one is not which side, it is before or after the cat. Is this something that you can change it yourself? If so, is there any DIY guide?
Thanks

This is from an 01 2.8, but the setup should be similar.. You can see the general area of the cats and 02 sensor location.

ok, i just searched code p0050 which is the code i had and jest told me that bank 2 was passenger side, when i took it to the mechanic it was the drivers side o2 sensor that was bad, the sensor basicly screws into your tubing and there is a plug at the end, it's like the plug that goes to a computer tower, you just need a wrench and some patience, do you have a local euro shop around you that can do it for you, let them figure out which sensor is bad and you can order it and have them put it in, or even a local mechanic that you know or family member knows. but make sure you get the right one because the plug's are not the same.

And as for the oxygensensor.com website, what do they refer to when talking about left and right side, are they talking about look at it out of the engine, or sitting in a driver's seat?
