u can get carbonfiber in ur interior
i beleive theres CF in the RS4/S4 for the b5s also
but stock audi CF interior is the best

Here is a question for ya - I have a 98 a4, do the a4 have a carbon fiber package? I have off white leather and blue carpet and blue carbon fiber where everyone else has wood grain. It doesn't look after market. any body have a brochure for that year? If people want I can post a pic tonight, of mine I'm a work now.

is it real carbon fibre? or does it just look like it.. because moulding it into those shapes and getting it nice and exact seems like it would be f'n hard...

 

It is real carbon fiber layed over your stock parts I believe. It is very thin. But I have seen and felt it in person looking at the GTI at evoms and it looked and felt great. Definately not overkill. They were accents not center pieces. I have a silver 2000 that I want to paint Red. Then I want to get my seats redone two-tone red and black and get the red cf all over to accent and match.

 

Is that stain resistant?

 

don't waste you money on the stick on stuff it peels off with the heat and looks nasty

 

agreed I have that stick on stuff now and it sucks plus it is damn near impossible to get on just right, once i hits the surface it doesn't move. This however is the eqivelant to dunking the whole dash in a carbon fiber liquid and pulling out a wonderful carbon fiber coated piece of beatiful plastic. Well thats not exactly how its done, but damn it looks that good. I will take some pics of that GTI this weekend and post them. They even did the rear view mirror caps and the eyelids. It looks great. Even the plast pices on the steering wheel.
