my friend wants to sell me his vis carbon fiber hood and was wondering what is a good used price? it has some scratches and heat fractures in it.

 

if you really want a carbon fiber hood, i would suggest not buying one that is already scratched and has heat damage.
in my opinion i would skip the whold carbon fiber hood idea and get some other cheap mod, but thats just me.
but if you really like the carbon thing, and maybe you are trying to save weight go for it. sorry i don't know what a good price would be. but the damage thing sounds like a concern to me.

personally a carbon fiber hood dosnt seem to be worth it....but thats just me

 

If your into the import look. kind of like japanese cars, i would get a carbon fiber hood. But i wouldn't buy it used....get what you want...buying from a friend limits choices and if it's already damaged it wont last long...and it looks bad

 

i had a CF hood for a li bit but i sold it, when i get some wheels im gonna slap another CF hood on again

 

yeah i am wanting to buy it. I think they look good and not just on japanese cars either.

 

if anyone is trying to make a Audi look like a japnanese car they should be shot and pissed on just my 2 cents

 

I really didn't mean they're trying to make them look japanese...but you know how people get Civics or Accords just for the options to "Supe Up"... Go German or go home...
