Car trouble with vag com info
So im sitting in my audi on my oobdtool.com version of vag com reading a check engine light. Yall help me out with whats going on and what to check with vag com (this is my first time using it), and how to go about fixing it.
1 Fault Found:
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
P0411 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
I then began to search around and click on the readiness tab and found all of the following to be "failed or incomplete:"
oxygen sensor heating
oxygen sensor(s)
secondary air injection
evaporative emissions
catalytic converter(s)
So whats going on here? The car is running a little worse than usual but not terrible, i do seem to get lower mpg numbers than others that have posted in the mpg threads, somethings wrong, what could it be??

RE: Car trouble with vag com info
"Failed or Incomplete" is probably due to not having completed the drive cycle requirements.
It does appear that you have a problem with your SAP or its piping, tho. Plenty of info on here to research.

I think ill have someone check out the readiness while im driving to see if it will change to pass, that'll work right??
Also what is "SAP or its piping" that i should check out and research??
I searched the fault code on google and alot of people blaiming the combi valve, on the firewall side of the head, or the secondary air injection solenoid valve, i have no idea what either of these are.
I cleared the code and the car seems to be running a little better, but its been cold (40-50*) for the past week or so and today it about 70* so it may still be messed up just smoother.
Im going to go examen now and see what i can find.

RE: Car trouble with vag com info
When you clear codes you reset the readiness monitors, sothey must all be reset. It could be something as simple as a vacuum leak in the line going to combi valve or broken secondary air pump tube. You can check those pretty easy. Just follow the lines coming off the combi valve on the back of the head. The one to the right is vacuum. The one on the left goes to the pump.
