NEVER use the Audi jackstand for anything other than a tire change. i'm suprised that thing hasn't killed one of us. I've bent the crap out of one before, it's horrible.

Guys... Guys... There's ONE thing we ALL forgot to mention. And, I, for one, am completely ASHAMED for ALL of us for forgetting this one VERY important item...

You'll need to chock teh wheel opposite the corner you're jacking up!!! Wheel chocks (or blocks) are also available at your locak auto parts store. I recommend you get something that's solid, especially if you're as forgetful as I am.

To date I have driven over 3 sets of wheel chocks because I forgot they were still under the wheel. Totally crushed em. You'd'a thought that the initial resistance to moving the car would'a clued me in, huh? Nope, I'm WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY too thick headed for that. I simply applied more gas... poor l'il wheem chocks din't know they were dooomed the minit I bought them <sniff-sniff>. So, learn from my mistake. Either snort more ground elephant ***** to improve your memory; but sturdy (solid) wheel chocks; or, get used to buying lits of cheap plastic ones...

To the rest of you who ALSO forgor to mention the wheel chocks... I've got a supplier for GEP I can hook you up with
