I bought an fm transmitter to use w/ my iphone in my 99.5 a4 2.8 avant quattro and can't get a station.

I can't seek out a station because when i hit the tuner buttons it hops to a station that's tramsmitting. Is there a way I can manually tune the stock radio one digit at a time?
