Caliper Painting
Hi,
I am looking to paint the calipers of my A4, 2.4 V6 in porsche red. Does anybody know what is the colour code of it, and from where it could be purchased online? In addition, is there any special technique that it needs to be painted in?
Appreciate it.

RE: Caliper Painting
I used the duplicolor red ($12 or $13 at my neighborhood parts store). I considered the two part paints but didn't want the mixing hassle, and wouldn't try spray paint because of the overspray. I unbolted the front calipers and removed the pads for better access, hung them with scrap wire so they wouldn't hang on the brake lines, cleaned them well using the supplied cleaner, then brushed on 3 coats. You only need to wait 15 or 20 minutes between coats. I also added audi rings decals from XenonMods. Looks awesome, and is holding up well.
(I didn't bother with the rear calipers since they are ugly little mothers anyways :-))
