Default caliper paint

Has anyone had experience with caliper paint as a quick an easy alternative to powder coating?

It'll work fine, as in it'll give you a nice finish, but you need to prep whatever you're painting very well to get the right finish to it. If you're careful with painting and prepping, you'll get a nice finish. If you were gonna powdercoat your calipers, be careful - the bake that cures it could damage any rubber seals inside. Better off planning on painting right from the start so you don't risk that.

Have you ever used Dynamic (Brake Warehouse) for their caliper powder coating service? They're off Conklin Ave

No I haven't - I wasn't even aware of them. I have a friend down in Meshoppen PA who has a powdercoating rig at his house, so I use that when I want to PC something. Good to know about a local source though Where off of Conklin Ave are they?

It's a decent place if you buy their better series of parts. The rest of the stuff is NO good.

ooo so your the brackney dude jeremy talks about. o jeremy, i used lemmiwinks and lowered the amount of fuel pumped when i accelerate. it's not at 98.2%. don't feel anything yet haha. maybe a bit lower will do it. so after some reading, powercoating is basically a way to paint your calipers and have them last longer right? well it looks better than paint too i guess. is this the dynamic your talking bout? DYNAMIC AUTOMOTIVE DIST INC (1 TELEGRAPH ST in BINGHAMTON, NY)
found it on this site http://www.city-data.com/zips/13903.html

hey yep it's me. powder coating is "painting" with an electrostatically charged powder. Comes out harder than Japanese arithmatic

all of the bbk kits are powder coated.... more $ but looks better and lasts longer and smoother... ive seen a lot of people use that g2 caliper paint... i would think it will hold up pretty good as long as you prep the surface well... thats the key to any paint job....

also i wouldnt waste the $ to get my stock calipers powercoated
