Default Byebye Borla, Welcome 3" Streight Pipe

I think Borla is not what I need anymore. I'm selling my Borla soon (one local guy wants to buy it so bad)

I am planing to get 3" streight pipe with magnaflow.

This is the one I'm planing to get
PART #: 14807

Only concern I have is the sound. I do not want to be TOO LOUD and disturbing.

I know some people have custom setup with magnoflow.

Any feedback or sound clip could I have ?

Thanks

Thats one mean lookin muffler.. Does your borla have a resonator on it now?? If you do straight through 3" piping its probably gunna be pretty loud, considerably louder than your borla anyway. Youll probably notice major gains though.

Yes it does. I know I'll be loud but don't wanna be like fart can.

Itll probably be more throaty loud than fart loud. But youll not have hardly any back pressure so you might get some popping when you let off the gas.

Yeah its gonna be VERY loud, and i'd expect it could get pretty annoying on your DD. Popping whe you let off the throttle with straight pipes is common, and its loud popping. I personally wouldn't do it, but if you think you can stand the noise level day in and day out then go for it, it'll give you some pretty good gains.

Just have the muffler shop throw a couple resonators in there, and should bring the noise level down.

Jeff has 3" all the way back, from what I heard on the vid where he was trying to sell his ride, it didnt sound too terribly loud. Not sure if he has it resonated or not.
On a side note. You do know, that muffler has a 2 1/4" inlet right?

EDIT: Here's that VID
